The sun was out for San Giuseppe (fathers’ day) and so were the Neretini. Nardò is a traditional town, and celebrated the festival, with illuminations, music and with sweet donuts (baked or fried) called Zeppole.
On Saturday evening the a band marched through the Centro Storico and joined the San Giuseppe procession. On Sunday morning the concert band played outside the Chiesa San Giuseppe just around the corner from Casa Lorenzo.
